Coachella has kicked off the Music Festival season! The two-weekend event occurred earlier last month (April) and was a huge success! Attracting a massive crowd and adding many surprises like Kid Cudi weekend two, Vampire Weekend weekend one, Will Smith coming out with J Balvin and Shakira coming out both weekends during Bizarrap’s set. Now Los Angeles will turn its attention to the next big festival, Just Like Heaven.
What Coachella lacked in Alt-rock / Indie acts, Just Like Heaven will more than makeup for. This one-day festival in Pasadena will be headlined by The Postal Service and feature Phoenix, Passion Pit, Two Door Cinema Club, Tegan and Sara, and more. While we would love to talk more about this amazing lineup and music, we are a food blog, so let’s talk about the amazing food coming to the Brookside at the Rose Bowl.

Birria is a popular food item around L. A and Cerda Vega will be serving up their modern-day birrieria flavor. If you are vegetarian or vegan, Cena Vegan and Monty’s Good Burger will be available to all! While Forever Pie, vegan pizza, will only be available in the VIP area. We are excited about this festival and can’t wait to see what we sink our teeth into. But one thing is for sure, with the weather warming up we will be stopping by Happy Ice for some shaved ice to cool us down.
