Six Flags Food Festival

Six Flags Magic Mountain, in Santa Clarita, is known for its roller coasters and thrill rides. Well, now they want to enter the foodie scene, and we aren’t talking about just their already delicious funnel cakes. Much like Disneyland’s Food & Wine and Knott’s Berry Farm’s Boysenberry Festival, Six Flags is hosting its own food festival, Flavors of the World. Flavors of the World Food Festival is going on right now and takes place Friday through Sunday until August 13th.

Flavors of the World highlights seven culinary parts of the world: Italy, Greece, the Caribbean, Korea, India, China, and France. Some of the food offerings that stood out to us were the Toasted Ravioli (toasted ravioli with marinara sauce, topped with parmesan cheese and basil) from Italy, Beef Gyro on Pita Bread (seasoned gyro meat, lettuce, tomato, and tzatziki sauce on a wheat pita) from Greece, Chicken Pot Stickers (dumpling stuffed with chicken and topped with green onions, served with sweet and sour sauce) from China, and a Cubano in a spring roll, the Cubano Cigar Spring Rolls (crispy spring rolls with ham, pork and Swiss cheese served with mustard) from Cuba.

During the Food Festival, they will also have a variety of drinks, available on flights as you “Drink Around the World.” Along with food and drinks, there will be performances and kid crafts.

Sip n’ Savor Passports are being sold with eight or twelve tabs, so depending on how hungry you are or the size of your group, purchase accordingly.
