Baseball is Back!!

The reigning World Series Champions are back in the States with a newly renovated clubhouse, batting cage, and new food around the stadium!!!

After beating the Cubs twice in Tokyo, Japan the boys in blue have returned home to Los Angeles for (re)Opening Day and the epic Ring Ceremony last night. Both of these games were also won, with a Mookie Betts extra-inning walk-off homerun last night, to put the Dodgers’ record at 4-0, the first time in 44 years that a Dodgers team has started this well!!

But I digress, along with coming back home and being off to a hot start, Dodger Stadium has new food offerings as well!

Some of the highlights we read about included the upgrades to the Chicken Katsu Sandwich which is now a Chicken Katsu  Club aka BLT added to the sandwich and is available at Delicious Hospitality (DH)  near Field Level section 8. Also in this stand, you can find the upgraded Home Run Platter which now comes with teriyaki chicken, steamed rice, veggie dumplings, blistered shishito peppers, and crispy spring rolls served with sweet chili sauce.

One new item we are excited to try is the Pastrami Burger. You can find this burger topped with RC Provision’s pastrami (IYKYK Geamelas)  both on Field Level section 10 and on Reserve Level section 31.

Staying in Reserve Level, the new Sweet Cheese Quesadilla Sundae is available at 7th Inning Sweats by Reserve 2. This quesadilla is filled with Salvadorian sweet cheese and served with soft serve and chocolate syrup.

If you are visiting the Top of the Park store, or love the sky view, you should check out the Dill Pickle Tots! They sound so interesting! Tater tots tossed in dill pickle seasoning and served with ranch. If you love pickles, like we do, this is a must-try.

From the top of the stadium back down and to the outfield. The Pavilion sections have new eats too! The Right Field Pavilion (section 52) has a new bacon-wrapped all-beef hot dog! You can find this hotdog at Hornitos Cantina and it is topped with avocado mash, ketchup, mayo, sauerkraut, and mustaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrdddd!!!!! (Sorry we had to)

L.A. Feeds Blue in the Left Field Plaza will be offering a Pho Brisket Dip Sandwich. This rye bread sliced brisket sandwich comes with garlic mustard aioli, Thai basil, cilantro, scallions, pickled red onions, and a side of pho broth for dipping.

Last new food in the outfield, in Left Field Pavilion (51) at Think Blue BBQ you’ll find plenty of new food! Let’s start with the Latin BBQ Platter which comes with tons of shareable portions of al pastor pork ribs, pulled pork, chorizo links, and sides of equite (corn), chipotle cornbread, habanero baked beans, pineapple salsa, and spicy coleslaw.

The Slugger (which is also available in Fan Fare Reserve section 31)  is a massive 16-inch jalapeno cheddar sausage dog that is topped with white cheese sauce, corn relish, cilantro crema, tortilla strips and served with crispy fries.

Smoked brisket on a baked potato, yes, please! The Loaded BBQ Baked Potato (also available at King’s Hawaiin in the Reserve level 32) comes with just that along with Mac and Cheese, BBQ sauce, red peppers, fried onions, scallions, and clarified butter.

Lastly, the only thing sweeter than victory is some new delicious dessert. Popping  Boba Dole Whip can now be found at both the Think Blue BBQ and Elysian Park Grill on the top deck. This sweet pineapple dole whip is topped with mango-flavored popping boba!

But it is the Sweet Spot on Field level section 46 where you will find the most sweet treats. They have hand-crafted shakes, popping boba,  sundaes, and S’mores Nachos which are cinnamon sugar-dusted tortilla chips, chocolate cream sauce, marshmallow fluff, mini marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbs.

Dodger Stadium is truly Blue Heaven on Earth and much like going to a theme park, you can’t leave without a funnel cake. Also and the Sweet Spot, you’ll find the new Fresh Funnel Cakes!
