Summer is not over yet, but everyone, including theme parks and us are excited for Spooky season! Disneyland Resort Halloween Time begins August 22nd, but they have gotten a head start! Recently releasing their Halloween Time Eats.
This list is massive! Lots of drinks, cold brews, churros, food and while we are excited to try all the food, we will only be highlighting a few that we found fang-tastic! But if you’d like to see the full list, here is the link:

Now, let’s highlight some of our favorites. We will start at the main park, Disneyland. We have to start with something savory and the first thing that caught our eyes was from Galactic Grill over in Tomorrow Land.

While they are also offering a Chile Pepper Burger, it was the Haunted Hound Dog that got our appetite going. This 1/4 pound all beef hot dog on a brioche bun is topped with shredded cheese, pickled mustard, bacon, and fried onions served with French fries or cuties.
At the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe, at the end of Main Street, they have some of the best breakfast in Disney, but we are here to talk spooky food and during Halloween Time they will be serving a Bulgogi Beef Toasted Sandwich with Corn Cheese Soup. This sourdough sandwich is filled with marinated beef bulgogi, grilled onions, mozzarella and kimchi aioli, it is served with a side of corn cheese soup.

Before we get to dessert, no Disneyland trip could be complete for a foodie without a corn dog from the Little Red Wagon. But, during this haunting season they will have a special corn dog, a Chili Cheese Corn Dog. A classic corn dog topped with spicy chili, jalapeño-cilantro crema, cheddar cheese, and crispy onions.
Now let’s talk sweets from Disneyland. There are two that caught our eye, one being a classic. The first is from Plaza Inn, across from Jolly Holiday, the Tombstone Chocolate Cake. This Chocolate pound cake is topped with whipped cream, Oreo dust, candied worms, and a tombstone decoration.
Now the classic, every year Disney brings back themed sundaes from Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor and this year is no different. The Rest in Chocolate is made with Rocky Road ice cream buried in chocolate-covered waffle cup with chocolate cookie crumbles and gummy worms topped with a chocolate tombstone.

Now on to DCA. Disney California Adventures is known for the beverages being available all over the park, but let’s focus on food. Award Wieners will be offering the Pambazo Torta. This torta is a Guajillo-dipped toasted roll stuffed with a hot dog, chorizo con papas, lettuce, cotija cheese, pickled onions, salsa verde, and a pickled jalapeño served.

California Adventures is bringing the latin flavor all year around, but especially during Halloween Time. At Rancho del Zocalo you can find the Chick-or-Treat Mulita. A cheesy blue corn tortilla with refried beans, chicken Tinga, crema, cotija cheese, and spicy pickled onions.
Take a pit stop at the Cozy Cones, where at Cozy Cone Motel 5 you can purchase the Barbacoa Sope. A fried sope topped with barbacoa, chorizo beans, lettuce, queso, crema, and salsa roja.

The Little Red Wagon at Disneyland is iconic, but the Corn Dog Castle at DCA is no slouch. For Halloween Time they will be serving a very unique “corn dog.” The Fried Elote Corn on a the Cob is a whole corn cob dipped in batter and fried to golden brown, drizzled with chipotle aioli, and topped with Chile-lime queso fresco and cilantro.

We can’t leave without at least one Mickey-shaped treat, so make sure to check out Smoozies in Hollywood Land. Their Ursula Enchanted Waffles are dark chocolate Mickey-shaped waffles filled with ube custard and dusted with powdered sugar.
